I'm guessing Hiller. He's been really good and there is a reason they played him over Giguere. Giguere only played ten or fifteen minutes so it's not like he proved anything. I'll see if I can find something on this.
Shell whomever. - A new BHawk rivalry is not what I want. It was just a matter of a decade and a half before they got it together. Oh the violence !
WTH? the only pressure is on YOU, Lord Potato! u'd say it was pressure on the wings if they had a 3-0 lead in the series and led 3-0 in the 3rd period of game 4!!!!!
Yeah, So...what's your point? LOL. Really, the Wings are the favored team. Playing at home the hockey teams try to do too much. I think the Wings play well with pressure, but I think it's a factor.
Well...I asked for and got a three goal victory. Now is the time to kick these guys to the curb. Need a 2 goal victory in game 5. Continue the goal scoring and Pavel needs a hat trick.
Maybe he would have done better if he fought back? Geez. Red Wings' Kopecky to miss Game 5 against Ducks - NHL - Yahoo! Sports
Hey Mr. Roscoe... Since we never got to put up the board with 16 numbers for the Pistons to "X" out when they won, how about a RED and WHITE one at the top for the Red Wings? Just thought it would be fun. I have no clue how much work it entails.
Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller(notes) was exposed in Game 4 for the first time, but the Ducks’ defense didn’t do a lot to help him. Jean-Sebastien Giguere(notes) relieved Hiller, more to give the young netminder additional rest before Sunday than to signal that coach Randy Carlyle is considering a change in goal. Final four is up for grabs - NHL - Yahoo! Sports
He seemed alright after the fight. But yeah, he should watch the Tyson movie. I wonder if Probie could get a 10 day contract. Looks like he took 3 clean shots to the head before falling backward on his noggin.
Carlyle replaced Jonas Hiller(notes), who gave up five goals after making 100-plus saves in two wins, with Jean-Sebastien Giguere(notes) on Thursday night. “We decided to rest Jonas Hiller in that situation,” Carlyle said. “Giguere has been working diligently, and we felt it would be best to give him an opportunity to sharpen and hone in playoff-type action. “With it being a three-goal lead, it made sense to do that and give him an opportunity to get his feet underneath him. If we decide to go in that direction, he’s not coming in cold.” So, who’s going to start Sunday? “You guys better come to the warmup,” Carlyle said. Babcock isn’t buying it. “Oh, he’ll be back,” said Babcock, referring to Hiller. “Giggy’s really good. Hiller has been fantastic.” Hossa hopes to help Red Wings hoist a Stanley Cup - NHL - Yahoo! Wings have really come to life since Game 3. They look fantastic right now. Ozzie is going to fall asleep from lack of work.
