Osgood has been so poor. Wings really need to raise their game. I wonder if Rafalski is throwing them off.
Situation serious, but not hopeless??? Or are we in trouble now.... Ducks have not lost a post season game leading after 2 periods and Wings have not won a game trailing after 2 periods....or three periods if you want to break it down to the real nitty gritty :(
For crissakes, Dats has been so ineffective. The guys on VS were talking about how he has been outfinessing himself. This has been a lousy game by the Wings, making me cranky. PK has been crap, PP has been worse, Ozzie has been average, ugh.
Over the last 30 or so years, these game 7s have gone both ways for the Wings. Unfortunately, they've lost many of these when they were the better team. My prediction for game 7. Wings 4 - 2 over the Ducks.
I'm confident in the Wings ability to win, and think they will win, but obviously it can go either way. Let's go Wings!
3-2 after two periods...Red Wings looked like they were just trying to sit on the lead instead of extending it. The two goals given up were bad rebounds where Ossie just was not in position to stop the second shot.. Nice penalty kill when the ducks had the 5-3 advantage, but to bad Hudler had to take the goalie interference when Pronger check him into Hiller. Wings need to come out aggressive in the third and play like they are behind.
Wings in the final four!!!! We are lucky...is Hiller a FA..if so can we sign him??? Ozzie is good, but how many more years or months does he have in him...?
I love winning on a cheap goal. Several calls went against us and to win the cheap way can be very satisfying...
