Houston at home with newly aquired Harden, then the longest away stretch with 6 games in 9 nights, OKC at home and Philly away. A 7-26 away record in 2011/12 and 0-4 in the pre-season. I'm predicting a horrible start and probably 2 wins. Give us your predictions before the start of the Houston game..... The full schedule of the first 9: Houston (home) @Phoenix @LAL @Denver @Sacramento @OKC @Houston OKC (home) @Philadelphia
What, ...no option for zero? Wins are meaningless this year. This year is all about individual development and team growth. The "hustle board" is the only scoreboard that I'll be concerned about this season. I'm more excited about this team than I've been in 6 years! (Hou & Phx look like potential opportuunities.)
I picked 1. We should be able to catch one team on a bad night but road woes have been a longtime concern. We'll gather momentum after a home stand.
I picked seven but I thought it was about wins in the first ten games, not nine. That changes everything.
4. I believe. This is the toughest part of the schedule except for the games when we start Charlie Villanueva.
Denver, OKC and Philly can all be chalked up as losses. I reckon we take the Rockets, beat Sac, maybe Phoenix.
If you knew how much this place cost to run, in time and money, no one would confuse me with a ruler. More like a janitor with a bad attitude.
We really have that many road games to start the season? Brutal. Not the start this team needs to gain confidence. 3 W's.
A .500 team could easily go 3-6 with that schedule. We are headed for likely losses in: both OKC games PHI on the road LAL on the road DEN on the road These are toss ups: Houston x 2 Phoenix on the road Sac on the road Odds are that we win 2 of the toss ups and steal 1 of the others.
