[sarcasm]No way is JD giving up his franchise player, a lotto pick, a big expiring and the next Dirk for a 20/10 guy that's always injured, an unproven PG and a potential bust in Cousins at 4 + some picks where no one good can be drafted.[/sarcasm]
I have no idea how to answer the slow adult's question. But, I'm pretty reluctant to become the Timberwolves. I'd pass.
Dude, The red underline type in that post indicates [sarcasm]sarcasm[/sarcasm]. WOW. If that is more than a rumor, THAT would be nothing shy of awesome. ...less than a heartbeat, hmmmmmm?
I understand why you're so bored of current pistons roster but I'm tellin you man: Detroit timberwolves - totally new level of boredom.
RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Pistons No Longer Trying To Move Up For Cousins Monroe or davis, tanking or not tanking....
They are giving just 2 guys from their roster, how can you call that the Detroit T-Wolves? All you have to do is move Rip and you build around Gordon, Jerebko and Cousins. And 16-23 range is the best place JD drafts.
PG - Flynn SG - Rip SF - Jeb PF - Al Jeff C - D-Cuz Bench: The Fro (player/assistant), BenGo, Bynum, Summers, J-Max, #16, #23, #36, MLE I haven't even checked to see if this lineup would even be possible. If it IS possible - I'd roll with this roster FOSHO!!!!
The length of time that Stuckey spends thinking about passing out of a drive to the hoop. Ok, ok, I'm just piling on now.
I just read that Rambis is seeking a bigger PG to run that thing. The Super Collider is pretty big... Kevin Love might become the very first NBA player to wear a helmet next season if this crazy trade were to ever go down.
That Kevin Love bit is outstanding. In all honesty though, he could be a good match for the triangle (provided he knows what a triangle is).
Darko could be the key to Jefferson trade. Darko Milicic could hold the key to Al Jefferson's future with the Timberwolves - TwinCities.com
Considering Minny just drafted 2 SF in the first round, I'd go for a Ben Gordon and Chris Wilcox for Al Jefferson. They're sorta weak at the 1 and 2, so maybe this works. Why folks want Ben over Rip as a Piston I can't explain. Rip is taller, a better defender, a better shot, a better passer, and a better free throw. Ben is a better one on one and can create his shot. But, as you have seen last year, it takes a lot away from how our team plays and defends. Besides, starting Ben and Stuckey is a BAD idea. It forces Stuckey to guard the 2 and rack up fouls. Which give us Bynum and Ben (even worse) at the 1 and 2.
So, Kahn says if/when they ink Darko, they're going to move Big AL. Now some folk here think that BigAL wouldn't be a good fit here, I'm not one of those people. My question is simple, what does Kahn want for BigAL? Shooting guard, depth and veteran experience are the Wolves most apparent needs, but that doesn't neccessarily mean that's what they're looking for. So what does it take (not what do we have) to get BigAL?
