He would be a legit backup to Tay and has very good size.
Cheap salary for a guy that has size and experience. Much better than a Juan Dixon type guy.
Or Flip Murray type guy.
I voted no because I can't remember ever seeing him do anything well on the court. Then again, the only time I saw him play was in the 2004 Finals. None of the Lakers were doing anything that series. So I guess maybe I'm good for giving him a shot.
What would Pistons need him for?
Sitting on the bench, collecting his minimum salary and not complaining. That is why I voted yes.
Absolutely Yes. He's got Piston DNA, he's cheap and no one else wants him.
Why sign a retread? I rather they take a flyer on an undrafted rookie.
He is no more legit than Mo Evans, Jarvis Hayes, or Delfino. So no. I'd rather let Afflalo and maybe Sharpe split the time.
