You are right, they've been looking for a solid back-up to Tay for years. He could probably learn a few things playing behind him.
It's important that we play Amir, J-Max, Bynum, and Spell check, so I don't think Lebron will mind too much as long as Hermann doesn't move ahead of him.
If we traded all of our starters for LeBron and went with the guys you named above do you think that we could win it all with this line up: C ~Amir Johnson PF ~JMAX SF ~Le Bron SG ~Afflolo PG ~ Bynum Bench~ Fabio , Kwame and Sharpe?
I think that's pretty much it. I've never liked him so i don't think i can learn to even tolerate him. Even if he scores 60 in the Pistons uniform, i'd probably still be looking at him sideways. He's the only player in the league i can't find anything to appreciate about. His attitude overshadows his game. Even Kevin Garnett i could at least appreciate that for all his theatrics, he works with the young players/is a team guy. With James, nothing.
If you truly saying you don't Lebron James on your team, then you're just flat out lying. The guy is good. I'm sorry, but how can you not want a guy who is 24 years old AND HAS been in contention for MVP for years now? Because of his ego? Career Leaders and Records for Points - Basketball-Reference.com Look at him at that list, already scored more points in his career than Chauncey and will reach Rip pretty soon AND is still young. I think at times, Lebron James has truly talked the talk and walked the walk, because he just cruises through the season and turns it up in when it matters, the playoffs.
Of course. Very few people realize that these guys alone can STOP Lebron, so with him, the Pistons would have a Uber team unlike any seen ever before. I would say the Pistons maybe lose five games the entire year.
No, this is like asking if you would rather have her in a Pistons uniform or not in a Pistons uniform.
It's pretty well documented that KG has been working with all the Celts young guys specifically Perkins/Davis on improving their game and he's almost Sheed-esque in the amount of time he puts in. It's also fairly obvious that he'll take any role to win, and is content with being the defensive guy if he has to. edited to add; When i say with James, i got nothing. I believe his ego drives alot of his moves.
I don't think you're crazy either. I only think you'd be crazy if you tried to claim he wouldn't make the team better and made THAT the basis for not wanting him. Hating him is an awesome reason not to want to look at him in your favorite team's uniform.
