I think the whole thing was staged that's right all made up. No one gives a rats you know what about the wnba yet now it's all over ESPN and on top of that they can talk about what Mahorn did or did not do.

Here on one of the local LA stations when the news came on they showed a snipit the players "battling" on the floor and all they said as a teaser was" "Sparks fly at the Palace" from Bad Boys to Bad Girls!!

I saw this whole game. I'm a HUGE WNBA junkie and Shock fan. It gives me the opportunity to objectify the participants of the game like my girlfriend does, "Ooooh Jordan is sooo fine.......Rip is kinda cute.......ooh ooh ooh I luv's me some AI, he got that thug appeal...." Yeah folks it gets on my nerves, she doesn't see great B-Ball, she turns it into some kind of male pageantry, or chip-n-dale expo. So the WNBA is my chance to turn the tables.

I have made my love of Candace "I'm engaged to a big head SCRUB" Parker no secret at all, man that's a tall, cool, sweet glass of Red(bone) Kool-Aid . But I got a serious jones for my hometown gals too, Cheryl Ford & Tweety Nolan, are easy on the eyes......Braxton's OK after 2 or 3 Heinekins-6 hot wings- a Patron shot; lastly, I really, really have this spooky attraction to Planette Pierson....HIPS 4 DayZ!!!!! So imagine how torn I was to see my "Fantasy" fighting my "Boo" OHHHHH THA HORROR!!!!!

So I guess I'm the only one that noticed that the only reason Lisa Leslie was off balance in the first place was because she can clearly be seen throwing a punch at Mahorn with her right hand right before she fell backwards?

Why do reporters keep bringing up the fact that she is a mother, as if pushing a non mother is not as bad. Its like trying to mitigate Rasheed's antics because he is a father of four.

If Mahorn gets any additional punishment from this "scuffle" with Leslie, then the league is sending a message that Shock better be perfect in order to get the title. If WNBA poster child Candace Parker had suffered a season ending injury, then I would expect more fallout (blame) on the Shock organization....

Leslie saying that he pushed her down is just a big exaggeration on her account. If you review the tape you can see that he stepped in to prevent her and another player from entering the fray and Lisa was swinging herself and in his attempt to stop her, she lost her footing and fell on her arse...embarrassed yep she was...

Bottom line, the black mark will fall on the Palace again even though the fans stayed out of it this time and the real suffering will be if Cheryl Ford's injury affects the teams run to the finals.

I never liked that girl. I on the other hand loves Planette Pierson because she didn't take any crap especially from the silver spoon Parker. Her way of saying welcome to the league girlfriend.
