The Detroit Lions will have to wait at least one more week before the return of Shaun Rogers, their best defensive player. The Pro Bowl defensive tackle has missed the last four games while serving a four-game suspension for substance abuse, underwent arthroscopic knee surgery during his time away and has not recovered enough to be activated for the Thanksgiving Day game against Miami.

I really don't want to go against the Lions karma on Thanks day but with Joey coming back to town. This could be embarrassing. What a waste.

Yeah, the Lions actually have a winning record on Turkey Day. They're a whopping 3 games over .500 @ 33-30-2.
