The longer things are quiet the more I am starting to think Curry is not going to be fired.

For one we are in full rebuild mode. Until we have a decent roster in place what motivation does the Pistons have to bring in another coach? Why spend the money to flush Curry when we are not going to be good anywat? The Media has been treating the Pistons with kid gloves. No real heat is on Currry like other coaches in Detroit like Leyland or the Lions coaches.

If Curry is still here this Friday, then it will be a long summer, fall, and winter for Pistons fans no matter who Joe tricks into signing here.

If Curry is a good friend, then Joe should just be honest with him and tell him to his face that he sucks as a coach and give him the late Will Robinson's job,....scouting overseas or something..&.give him a raise too so he can just go away happy....

Seems like an ideal time to toss Laimbeer a few more bucks than he's making with the Shock. Let him lay down the fundamentals to the kids and create a foundation for the next great Pistons' era.

He simply was lost at how at almost all aspects of coaching.

I don't blame Curry, JD is the one who thought any one could coach, so why not hire his buddy.

One of the most inexperience persons to ever get a head coaching job, and the results show.

My reason why he should be fired is
He said all the right things and didn't do none of them.
    He didn't hold players accountable.
He didn't make a choice on the small ball line-up.
He didn't know how answer questions on national tv.
He got a two techs and got kicked out the game but always had something to say about staying poised.
He didn't put fire on Sheed's ashtray for talking smack to him.

Yes exactly. He did not accomplish anything that he said he would.

We should find out tomorrow. Someone wrote that Dumars is giving a press conference about the season tomorrow ( Wed)

Do you know if Curry was invited?? If Curry is there, he's staying.... :yellowprison:

We need a PF'er like The Low to fly in for the press conference to ask Joe WHYYYYYYYYYYY in the hell are you keeping him??? If the Low can't make it, then send Lee as he will point out enough Curry flaws to make Joe rethink it or even send stuttering John since keeping Curry is a joke.

Bingo. Aside from the fact that he's generally been unbelievably frustrating and he screwed even the simplest things up, that's my biggest gripe about him. He talked the talk but he couldn't walk the walk, so to speak.

"fire-Curry" party is pulling wrong triggers. Instead of petitioning to JD, direct contacts to mrs. Davidson should be more effective ways...

    Just sayin'.
