    I'm going with:
    1. Monroe
    2. Jerebko
    3. Daye
    4. Wilcox
    5. White

I think Round and Basketbills picked these same 5. It's strange wanting to keep a player we have never seen play, but that is where we currently stand in Pistonland....

Our sure thing of 7 years ago has evolved into wishing and hoping...even with our top 5 player selections. Interesting how many choose White strictly on potential compared to what we've seen of our other players. He's not even a 1st round pick...

A 2nd round draft pick with a broken leg and without a single NBA minute as one of the top 5 keepers says something about the quality and depth of this roster.

Well we had to go with 5 :P

JJ and Monroe were no brainers for me

I think Joe will know better then me, but I like what I have seen out of Wilcox since he has bascially taken over for Ben in Jan. Even if we draft a great big man I doubt he'll be ready to start day one so Wilcox fits the bill for me for now.

Daye, while not sold on him as a future starter.... I do like him for some reason.

Which left me with slot 5... I know what everybody brings to the table but White and none of them have me wanting to see them anymore. White hasn't had a chance to show us what he can't or can do.. So till I atleast see him play in summer league he remains in my top 5.

If every player on the team had a $2M/year price tab and I had to commit to each of them for a 3-year period, then I'd go with:

    1) Monroe
    2) Jerebko
    3) Stuckey
    4) Hamilton
    5) Prince

That would give us a solid player at each position.

Daye, Wilcox, and Bynum are keepers for me if you take their actual salaries into account.

I think the space you used between at and least really separates your post from Round's in a positive way.

As the Pistons look to begin a new chapter, aren't you worried about removing some of the negative attitudes on the current roster?

I knew atleast one person would notice that. Good work, Ernie!!!!

Not if I'm only paying Rip and Tay $2Mill a piece per year. We all know they're worth at least $3M each.

No way, silly. I mean Chris Wilcox. If I were Gores, I would try to hire Darko as an usher for the smoking section. I would also make him man the Tom Gores leaning bobblehead booth.

Mine too. I would never hire Darko as an usher!

Monroe and Jerebko are the easy two.
I'd keep Daye because he seems to be the Pistons' best clutch shooter, and still has potential.
After that, it's down to between Stuckey, Wilcox, and Bynum.
I think I'm going with Stuckey and Bynum. Bynum is a hard worker that is a guy you want to have coming off the bench. Wilcox is just too bad of a defender, and Stuckey, though he showed that he's a little bit of a whiner near the end of the season here is still the most underrated player on the Pistons.
