    Steve Yzerman's jersey/banner hanging, # retirement was tonight.

    The Wings beat the Ducks 2-1 at the Joe, Steve gave one of his awww shucks speeches.

    Talk radio was fired up today, putting Stevie above Isiah, Barry, you name it as a Detroit icon. 22 years with the same team, 3 championships, 19 years as Captain, 20 trips to the postseason.

    7th All-Time in Assists
    8th All-Time in Goals
    6th All-Time in Points (Combined goals + assists).

    Thanks for the memories Steve. You're a class act.
