Re: Tiger Chat 2010

Seems odd. I thought the Tiggers were cutting payroll. After all, they broomed Jackson and Granderson. Two of my favorites. Wonder what's really going on?

Rascoe makes 1/2 as much as he did a few years ago, and likes life 10 times more.

What does Rascoe attribute this change to? (yea...I ended with a preposition)

As one of the best in the league I think he gave the Tigs a home discount. But Granny had to go.

Johnny Damon and Tigers Finalize $8M, 1-Year Deal - ABC News

Quote:
"This is where I wanted to be," he said Monday after completing his $8 million, one-year contract. "The Tigers were my first choice. I love it here and think I am a good fit."
Does the 36 year Damon still have something in the tank to help the Tigers??

I think he will help but our season results hang on the pitching staff. If JV, Porcello and the new guy can put up some good innings and if Perry, Zumaya and Valverde are lights out; we could be good.

It will still be exciting.

Lebron stated, "Losing Damon to the Tigers will affect us as a team"
