Losing Palanco is a huge loss, he always puts the ball in play, never strikes out (every 17 at-bats which is best in the majors), and is 2nd in the A.L. in batting average with men in scoring position(.374). Also, he rarely makes errors. The Tigers will keep winning, even without Palanco. They have a chance at the sweep tonight.

Exactly, they took two out of three in the toughest place to win in the major leagues. They also picked up a game on Chicago in the process. Thank you, Kansas City and go Tigers. Lotsa complaining on detnews about them. It was hard to believe they could keep the torrid pace up all season. I'd rather see them play subpar now and then come back strong late in the season.
