GREAT job by Bonderman! Over the last 3 games, the pitching staff has proved that they understand the significance of their role...flat-out AWESOME performances by all! And the team defensive play has been GREAT also!

Surprised there's not more excitment for the team here... this is really something special beating the bombers... wow! To Lazy, Army, Hatter, detteam and some of the ol' farts... ya'll know about how long it's been.... congrats to the Tigers... it ain't over by a long stretch, but to beat the billion dollar club is crazy good.
I'm truly thrilled by this.
Let's go Tigers!

I was sure we would get swept by the hated Yanks.

I'm elated. Now to get revenge on the A's for 1972 (I believe that was the year) when Joe Rudi, Reggie Jackson, Vida Blue, Bert Campeneris, and company beat Billy Martin and the Tigers. I remember it well.

Alright Darth, pickin' up whatcha layin' down... you're older than I thought.... and them goofy lookin A's Jerseys... & Rollie Fingers... that was a talented team... they also had a big time slugger that struck out 50% of the time?

Mike Epstein is all I remember. They also had Jim Catfish Hunter pitching and Sal Bando at 3rd base.
