He rolled 7 and 11 all year. Right up until the W.S. He depended on the A.L. ROY too much. But he doesn't have a Gold Glove like Roasters does.

Don't know when the actual voting occurred, but he had this award wrapped up in the beginning of August. The question is if they had been swept in the first round and the Twins actually made it the WS, would Gardenhire have won it or is it really based on the regular season as they usually say.
