Since I am kicking your butt 7-3 as of tonight I'm currently in 2nd place so only Gazoo has room to talk stuff to me...and I already kicked his butt in week one.

Ho hum...I'll win this league just like the other three pf.com leagues I was in.
Darth, I forgot to thank you last week for keeping Zack Grienke in your lineup when the Royals faced the Tigers. That 54.00 ERA was a thing of beauty.

You're doing very well for yourself so far. Fifth place is something you should be proud of. Heck, you're in the top half. Big pats on the back to you. Keep it up!!

Zack's ERA was only 2nd in beauty to your .227 batting average for the week. I guess none of your hitters faced him, eh?

Oh, and speaking of 2nd, may I be the first to wish you good luck in securing a 2nd place finish in our pf league to match your runner up prize in the highly esteemed Detroit News league. I've never received a 2nd place trophy. My trophy case is filled with those big gaudy 1st place championship trophies. But I must admit those little 2nd place ones are kinda cute.

Well, you're on your way to another great season. If you can manage to beat Jammer's Jays this week, then all you'll need to do next is get past my 13-year old son. Before you know it, you'll be in the top 3. If you don't finish high enough to earn a trophy this year, though, perhaps we can get you a "participant" medal....

Look at your stat tracker. Click on standings. I'm in 2nd place. You're in third. Gotta stay current, my man.

What's a Statracker?? Some guy with a clip-board and glasses??

Does every team have one? Mine must be lost. Or, does it cost? $$$$.

I just get by with my wits and a prayer.

Sounds like some of you are taking this way to seriously. Remember, this is just a fantasy!!!

LOL

Re: PF.com Fantasy Baseball?

Woody,

You must be pretty upset with Roscoe for breaking his own policy. You know, the one about NOT ABUSING FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS!!

I mean, he is crushing you 9-1. You know, it would be one thing if he was on top of the standings, but come on. This is Roscoe we are talking about. (Yeah, the same one from hockey). Gimme a break. I really can't say much more or he won't give me my banners, or Hall of fame status, or whatever it is he said he was going to do.

I don't know who you can report him to. I don't think he answers to anyone around here. I've reported him numerous times but I just got mean pm's for my efforts threatening me with lifetime bans and all that jazz.

Well, just hang in there Woody. Maybe you can make it 2-9. Best of luck, as always.

Your good pal,

Darth.

Webz,

Not bad. You've taken out the 2nd & 3rd place teams. Can you also knock off #1?

Sooo...we meet again. Different sport and over a year has passed us by.

Great to rekindle the rivalry.

dude you had like over 60 strike-outs last week. what up with that? my pitchers are still finding themselves by the looks of it. zambrano and sheets underperforming.

after devouring the laimbeers, the save-vultures are looking for some fresh meat. that means you tater!
