Re: PF.com Fantasy Baseball?

Tater, looks like you were able to produce a better result than me this week. Your guys just seemed to have the right fibre when it mattered most.
In fact, your guys had a field day in the stolen bases cat. I thought I might have run over the top of your batsmen but my guys stunk up the joint this week, and yours were able to dig deep and wash the dirt off to the tune of 8-2.

my pitchers actual played better than yours this week I felt after your result last week. why can't I get both the batters and pitchers to perform in the same week??

But I'm liking that little Brett Myers pickup, he could become another master save-vulture in the near future...

Clever potato puns.

I like your Brett Myers pickup. I was going to grab him when he cleared waivers...but you made sure he didn't clear. He has the potential to do well and he may get the chance with Gordon out.

I think you'll be happy with Victorino too. I thought about picking him up because he was a Phillie and playing really well, but didn't quite have room on my squad. I'm trying to balance my competitive drive with having my favorite players. Still...we may be able to work something out for those two guys.

Our match was pretty close last week. I don't think either of us had a very good week, although I came out on the lucky end. Seems like this keeps happening with my baseball team. My stats are worthy of a 4th or 5th place team (I checked), but I've been really lucky so far in match ups (playing opponents who had an off week). But eventually it will catch up if I'm not careful. Those kinds of things usually do.

I've got to go now. I'm trying to think of ways to bait Woody for this weeks match up. I'm assuming he's still around here...somewhere. His team sure hasn't showed up yet this season.

Looks like my team is starting to heat up. It is embrassing to be sucking so bad since I had the number #1 pick in the draft. I think I out smarted myself by drafting Howard ahead of Puljols. What was I thinking?

Your guys played very well against me, Winless. My pitching staff did really well and it all went for naught. Your guys were too good.

I dunno, but I had the #2 choice and planned to take Howard with it. Phillie man love, you know.

Yeah, I got that going for me. I don't have the killer instinct in Fantasy. I won't make a lot of moves. I did that one year and still ended up second. I need a Tater transfusion, I guess. I used to be fairly competitive person, but I'm the total opposite now.

Re: PF.com Fantasy Baseball?

You can always tell you must be playing Woody when your team is batting a whopping .180 and you are nevertheless still winning that category!
