Yeah, I don't mind that. Tigers won.

My team does seem to be in the midst of a mini slump. We'll see if I go down like Webz did in basketball two years ago or Wart did in basketball last year. Both ran away with the regular season titles...only difference is, there is NO TATER to knock me off.

I told you guys I would struggle without Pence and Utley. Once they are back I'll be back to my humble but dominant self.

But kudos to your boys Roscoe. Your team is playing very well and I'm playing like crap. If it keeps up, I'm history this week. 2nd through 7th place is getting very interesting. Should be an exciting race to the playoffs and for the final bye. Lucky for me I took care of business early on.

Gazoo, the consolation bracket standings count toward your overall finish in the league and also on your all time Yahoo profile standings, so I wouldn't tank if I were you. I won a consolation bracket in football and it wasn't like the regular playoffs but it was kinda fun. But then again, I'm the competitive type and wouldn't want Woody to get bragging rights. Besides, you are a U of M boy. You should be used to the NIT.

All-time Yahoo profile standings? Ha ha. You think I'm up nights worried about that?

You are one competitive dude.

Well Roscoe, I've been trying to figure out what "passe" means within the context of our past fantasy battles.

I think it must mean "impossible", as in "I never thought I would say this Darth, but beating you has become impossible".

I mean, our scores this year have all gone convincingly my way.
8-1, 8-2, and now 8-3 with a day still to go. Hey, you're getting closer every time. Or maybe Lambs was correct and I just need a tuneup.

Roscoe, have you EVER beaten me in a fantasy matchup? I think I do remember losing to you in hockey one week, but the memory is fuzzy. I just recall going to work with a paper bag over my head for about a month.

Still one day to go Cannuckian. Have I spoken too soon? Don't count on my boys choking. I'll leave that up to your guys.

Toodles my Cannuckian friend.
Oh, btw...I am really hoping you make the playoffs. It's becoming "passe" kicking your butt in the regular season.

Re: PF.com Fantasy Baseball?

Gazoo has become the giant slayer of late. He has won 5 weeks in a row all against current playoff bound teams. Mine looks like becoming number 6.

My batters are a bit injured right now and I didn't want to drop anyone so I left my injured SS in all week. Oh well. I figure it doesn't matter too much about where you finish because in the playoffs its going to be a bit of a coinflip. The teams are so even that its going to be whoever happens to play well that particular week.

Re: PF.com Fantasy Baseball?

Crap. Roy Halladay pitched his second 9 inning game of the WEEK today. Problem is, the game went 10 innings so he didn't get credit for a complete game or the W.

Looks like you share Darth's inability to spell WINNER properly.
