hooray! just checked the league to see i got 2nd. thats excellent because i didn't get a chance to set my lineup.

now i get to rest. ahhh...

Both of our numbers are terrible for the first day. Horrible pitching and hitting...

Pretty good battle at the 4-5 quarterfinal with Laimbeer and Laimbeer Jr.

I hope there will be no silence or hurt feelings at the Laimbeer dinner table when this one is all over.

No doubt there will be some animosity lingering for years to come over this matchup. My use of 6 starters and 1 closer appears to be sound so far, but there is a lot of baseball left to be played.

I wonder what happens if we end up tied. Perhaps we both advance and Darth is eliminated....

...I think the tie breaker is runs scored...or possibly hits.

I'm pretty sure pops is gonna win because it's our destiny to meet.

So much for dominating the regular season. If I didn't have a bye this week, I'd be hit.

The Phillies are playing lousy and my pitching staff has been plagued with injuries. Goodbye Bedard , Hamels, and Lincecum.

I'm crossing my fingers and my toes that I can pull this one out with Bezeach. I'm up 8-2 or 8-3, but the margins I am ahead by are tiny. This one will go down to the wire.
