HQ do you think losing those 10-12 starts from The Gambler (due to his blood clot surgery) will affect the Tigers quest to get 90 victories?

Nahh! hes 43 yrs old. we have to start expecting that whatever he gives us is more important in the clubhouse than the dugout. Watch for durbin and Miller. And Nate Robertson will win 17 games at least. Im gonna enjoy this day!!! I ordered MLBTV. its only 14.95 a month and you get every game online Tv or radio. Im only paying month to month because baseball is so funny, but I think we will have a good year. For me, thats 90 wins or more..playoffs or not. Im just glad GOOD baseball is BACK!!!

Re: TIGERBEAT presented by Stroh's

Opening day had the Blue jays storming to a 3-0 lead and holding on for a 5-3 win in 10 innings.
THE GOOD:
Bonderman came back with 5 great innings after a terrible 1st.
Sheffield showed he is the gangsta of MLB.What a rocket bat.
Polanco and Granderson are going to be like the Brothers Johnson, Thunder Thumbs and Lightning Licks!!!
Zoom and Doom(Zumaya and Jones) were very good.

THE BAD:
Rodney is still a crooked hat wearing FlipMurray of a pitcher.
No homers. Thats a big part of our offense.
Ordonez needs a big hit this year when we least expect it.
Wont go 162-0!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: TIGERBEAT presented by Stroh's

SERIES: TIGERS AT ROYALS...3 GAMES

Tigers start of 1-1 and 1(snow trumps all) and head to KC where it aint much better. Justin V goes Friday and a very important start for Maroth Saturday. Curtis Granderson looks like Lou Brock out there and Polanco leads the AL with a .600 BA. All the hoopla from the pennant ceremonies are done, so this 10 day roadie should actually be kind of relaxing. Look for a lot of runs by our boys this weekend. KC is young and spunky and arguably the best last place team in baseball. Should be a fun weekend.

Also, great news that MLB can be scene on CATV this year through your IN DEMAND service, and its free this weekend.
