I don't think anything can help me in baseball. Maybe divine intervention.

Hey, I've been to Poland in the 80's and I know all about having thousands in my pockets and not being able to buy much of anything. Cheap Walkman was over 500K in their currency.

Judging by how quickly it was accepted, and from the comments here, I probably could have got a bit more out of the deal for him.
Don't sweat it dude. It's not like we know what we are talking about. Anyhow, Braun went 0/4 today.

Next time though, ask us BEFORE you pull the trigger. Why is it that you Cannuckians always do everything bass ackwards??

Re: PF.com Fantasy Baseball 2008

This morning my team was tied 5-5. I've got to be very happy if I can just keep it close. So many injuries. My stud catcher and second baseman got hurt opening day and haven't returned. My stud reliever went on the DL. Ryan Braun playing through an injury. My best pitcher bothered by something (although he pitched well in a 1-0 loss). Not a good opening week and it's frustrating that I need to leave those guys in my starting lineup since it's a weekly setting. That's life. If I can escape this week at 5-5 or near that I'll consider myself "lucky"...

Ouch, Ben Sheets threw a 5 hit complete game shutout with 8 Ks today and I had him on my bench.

The weekly roster strikes again!

Arrrrghhhhh.

I can't freakin believe this. Now on top of everything else, yesterday I lost my second best reliever and my 2nd base guy (who has been red hot) to injury. The pitcher at least will end up on the DL.

So I was honestly thinking this morning that about the only guy who hasn't been hurt was my first rounder J. Rollins. So of course he was just pulled from the game today after he came up lame running the bases.

I think two of my outfielders haven't been hurt this year and a couple of pitchers. I'm not even sure I'll be able to field a full team next week.:ye llowprison:

I mean, my team was deep, but I'm literally losing guys daily. I've lost track but I think I've had about ten guys go down since opening day. Just plain weird.

I can't replace them either because most are going down on Monday or Tuesday. I had Berkman go down on Thursday last week and he didn't return so i pulled him this week. Guess what? He came back Monday even though he was doubtful and hit a homer.

Very strange.

I agree, this has been a rather strange beginning to the year.

You know, just because we're friends, I'll trade you my healthy shortstop (Orlando Cabrera) for your often-injured Jimmy Rollins.

I'd take this deal in a heartbeat. What friends are for, right?
