If people are going to give up on their teams and make these hasty claims, they should get called out when the team turns it around.

Oh my goodness, I agree. But I learned to whine here. Like everybody else I try to fit in. [But why would I try to fit in with a bunch of whiners?]

And that Cabrera dude sure has a mind of his own.
I'm not asking you who is on second. Just tell me what's the name of the player on first base.

Isn't a coach somewhere over there? The first base coach?

Re: TIGERS 08 SEASON THREAD

Tigers down 8-4...top of the 9th. Gave up 5 runs in the 8th to lose the lead. We have bases loaded with only 1 out, top of the 9th...Can they pull it out ???

Re: TIGERS 08 SEASON THREAD

Verlander struck out 7, but I guess his pitch count of 98 was to high after six innings so JL pulled him and Freddy Dolsi pitched one inning before collapsing in the eight. Doesn't appear that Rodney was ready either.as he could only retire one batter and gave up 3 runs in that killer 8th inning.

Tigers tried to make a comeback in the ninth by getting two runs via a Grandy, bases laoded single, but Rinteria stuck out prior to that bat also with the bases loaded.

Six game win streak is over...lets start another one tomorrow night....

no sadly wasn't the pitch count, its no DH that did him in, there was a runner on third with one out when his spot came to bat... so he was pinch hit for and the run was gotten in so he did have a chance for the win.

I've heard it, I believe. You have to remember I am coming from a different country so I am not necessarily familiar with all the american classics.
