Do I have to be a member to donate?

Membership on the forum is not required to be a donor.

What currency are donations made in?

Donations should be made in US Dollars. All of Pistonsforum.com's online expenses are paid in this currency. If you are paying from a PayPal account with a different primary currency or a Credit Card that uses another monetary unit, currency conversion will be handled by PayPal and/or your Credit Card provider.

Do I need a PayPal Account to donate?

We use PayPal as our processor for all donation transactions. You will not need an account with them to donate by credit card.

What is the minimum donation amount?

Due to processing costs, we ask that donations be for no less than $10 USD.

What is the maximum donation amount?

Our easy donate options are setup for donations of up to $50. If you wish to donate more, please contact us or select the Click the button below to choose your own amount option.

What will donations be used for?

All donations will be used to pay for monthly and annual expenses including

• Server leasing and bandwidth costs
• Ongoing Server Maintenance Contracts
• Software licence renewals
• Bad Boy Summer Camp coverage expenses

Are donator names made public?

Who donated and how much will be kept confidential. In order to assure that everyone is treated equally, donor or not, this information will not be publicly announced or displayed.

Is my donation tax deductible?

While Pistonsforum.com is not run for profit, at this time Pistonsforum.com is *NOT* a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Your donation will *NOT* be tax deductible.

Can I get my donation refunded?

Due to the planned use of donations for current expenses, refunds will not be possible. Please consider very carefully if you can afford to donate and if so, donate an amount that is comfortable within your budget.
